Listen to the news

Looking at Outcrop Silver & Gold Corporation's (TSE:OCG ) insider transactions over the last year, we can see that insiders were net buyers. That is, there were more number of shares purchased by insiders than there were sold.

Although we don't think shareholders should simply follow insider transactions, we do think it is perfectly logical to keep tabs on what insiders are doing.

The Last 12 Months Of Insider Transactions At Outcrop Silver & Gold

In the last twelve months, the biggest single purchase by an insider was when insider Eric Sprott bought CA$10m worth of shares at a price of CA$0.35 per share. That means that an insider was happy to buy shares at around the current price of CA$0.36. That means they have been optimistic about the company in the past, though they may have changed their mind. While we always like to see insider buying, it's less meaningful if the purchases were made at much lower prices, as the opportunity they saw may have passed. In this case we're pleased to report that the insider bought shares at close to current prices. Eric Sprott was the only individual insider to buy during the last year.
