06:47 AM EDT, 08/11/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Uniper (UN0.F) Chief Executive Michael Lewis said Germany's gas storage could reach 70% by Nov. 1, provided prices remain favorable. Speaking to Bloomberg Television on Tuesday, Lewis said a peace deal in the Middle East would be essential to ensuring sufficient liquefied natural gas inflows to Europe ahead of the coming winter. Germany's gas storage facilities are currently 48% filled, the news report states.
