11:45 AM EDT, 08/11/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Samos Energy and Saudi investment company Cafani Group's Alamadiyaf al-Masiyyah for Trading Co will not make offers for London-listed Capricorn Energy (CNE.L), according to separate Tuesday filings. Under the UK City Code on Takeovers and Mergers, the companies may revisit their potential offers if oil producer Genel Energy's (GENL.L) existing offer for Capricorn Energy is withdrawn or lapses, among other conditions.
