12:56 AM EDT, 08/12/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Berner Kantonalbank (BEKN.SW) said Wednesday that its profit and operating income for the first half of 2026 rose year over year. Profit for the six months ended June 30 was 82.6 million francs, compared with 76.3 million francs a year ago. The Swiss regional bank's operating income was 291.2 million francs, compared with 277 million francs earlier.
