Hannover Re Books Higher H1 Group Net Income; Reinsurance Revenue Down

01:53 AM EDT, 08/12/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Hannover Re (HNR1.F) said Wednesday its group net income for the first half rose, while reinsurance revenue dropped year over year. Group net income for the six months ended June 30 was 1.41 billion euros, compared with 1.31 billion euros a year ago. EPS moved to 11.66 euros from 10.90 euros. The German reinsurance company's reinsurance revenue was 12.92 billion euros, compared with 13.34 billion euros earlier. The company affirmed its expectations of group net income of at least 2.7 billion euros for full-year 2026.
