Balfour Beatty Logs Lower H1 Attributable Profit; Group Revenue Up

02:19 AM EDT, 08/12/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Balfour Beatty (BBY.L) said Wednesday that its attributable profit for the first half of 2026 declined, while group revenue grew year over year. Profit attributable to equity holders for the six months ended June 26 was 97 million pounds sterling, compared with 101 million pounds a year earlier. EPS moved to 0.198 pound from 0.196 pound. The infrastructure company's group revenue was 4.98 billion pounds, compared with 4.52 billion pounds a year ago. Meanwhile, the board declared an interim dividend of 0.047 pound per share, payable on Dec. 4 to shareholders of record as of Oct. 30. It paid a dividend of 0.042 per share in the year-ago period. Looking ahead, the company updated its outlook for its net finance income to reach between 35 million pounds and 40 million pounds, compared with its previous guidance range of 28 million pounds to 32 million pounds.
