03:11 AM EDT, 08/12/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Eco Animal Health (EAH.L) said Wednesday it entered into a perpetual exclusive license agreement with Vaxinano for the latter's sheep vaccine candidate against toxoplasmosis. The license covers all global key markets for sheep rearing and allows the animal health company to complete development and commercialize the vaccine candidate for the prevention of reproductive failure caused by Toxoplasma gondii. Under the agreement, Eco will pay Vaxinano a "modest" upfront license fee, as well as future development milestone payments and royalties based on commercial product sales. The vaccine is expected to generate peak annual sales of 10 million pounds sterling in the UK and Europe, with Eco expecting the product to make a significant incremental earnings contribution from its vaccine portfolio.
