03:44 AM EDT, 08/12/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Boliden's (BOL.ST) mining concession for the Laver area in Sweden was sustained, with the government dismissing two appeals, according to a Wednesday release. The Swedish Mining Authority cleared the metal producer to extract copper, gold, silver, and molybdenum in September 2025. Next, Boliden will seek an environmental permit for the defunct site, where mineral resources are estimated at 849.5 million tonnes.
