05:02 AM EDT, 08/12/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Southern Energy (SOUC.L) spudded the Terrible Creek 21-2 #2 Cotton Valley test well at the Williamsburg Field in the US. The US-focused natural gas producer, which has a 50% working interest in the well, expects drilling to reach a depth of 19,000 feet, according to a Wednesday release. The well is the first of two farm-out commitment wells planned in 2026.
