06:08 AM EDT, 08/12/2026 (MT Newswires) -- The UK Competition and Markets Authority is inviting interested parties to comment on its proposed actions on 33 existing market remedies until Sept. 11. The invitation follows the British regulator's strategic review of 60% of its market remedies, which are designed to address competition issues during market investigations, to assess if they are still needed or if they have been superseded by new laws, regulations, or technological advances, according to a Wednesday release. The CMA suggested removing 23 redundant measures, partially removing four remedies, and fully retaining six measures. It expects to reach a final decision in autumn.
