PITTSBURGH, Aug. 12, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- "As a mechanic, I typically use a hammer and chisel to puncture and drain oil filters prior to removal, which can be difficult, time-consuming, and potentially dangerous. I thought there could be a better way," said an inventor, from Alvarado, Texas, "so I invented the OIL FILTER DRAINING PUNCH. My design would greatly simplify this operation while saving time and avoiding a real mess."
