Costain Group Posts Higher H1 Attributable Profit, Revenue

02:33 AM EDT, 08/13/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Costain Group (COST.L) said Thursday that its profit and revenue for the first half increased year over year. Profit attributable to equity holders of the parent for the six months ended June 30 was 14.9 million pounds sterling, compared with 14.2 million pounds a year earlier. EPS moved to 0.056 pound from 0.053 pound. The construction and engineering company's revenue was 543.1 million pounds, compared with 525.4 million pounds a year ago. Meanwhile, the board declared an interim dividend of 0.02 pound per share, payable on Oct. 23 to shareholders of record Sept. 18. It previously paid 0.01 pound per share. Looking ahead, the company expects revenue to increase in the second half from the first half.
