UK's Entain Posts Smaller H1 Loss; Revenue Up

02:44 AM EDT, 08/13/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Entain (ENT.L) said Thursday that its loss for the first half narrowed, while revenue rose year over year. Loss after tax for the six months ended June 30 was 11.4 million pounds sterling, compared with 85.8 million pounds earlier. Loss per share moved to 0.018 pound from 0.143 pound. On the other hand, adjusted profit attributable to shareholders was 131.1 million pounds and adjusted EPS was 0.203 pound, compared with the year-ago period's 162.3 million pounds and 0.252 pound, respectively. The British sports betting and gambling company's revenue was 2.51 billion pounds, compared with 2.34 billion pounds a year ago. Meanwhile, the board declared an interim dividend of 0.103 pound per share for the period, payable Sept. 28 to shareholders on record as of Aug. 21. It paid 0.098 pound per share a year ago. For 2026, the company continues to expect its online net gaming revenue to increase between 5% and 7% on a constant currency basis.
