Salama Logs Higher H1 Attributable Profit; Takaful Revenue Falls

12:43 AM EDT, 08/14/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Islamic Arab Insurance (DFM:SALAMA), d/b/a Salama, said Friday its profit for the first half surged, while takaful revenue slipped year over year. Profit attributable to shareholders for the six months ended June 30 was 26.8 million Emirati dirhams, compared with 5.7 million dirhams earlier. EPS moved to 0.044 dirham from 0.006 dirham. The Dubai-listed insurer's takaful revenue was 469.7 million dirhams, compared with 515.4 million dirhams a year ago.
