03:49 AM EDT, 08/14/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Rheinmetall (RHM.F) secured a contract to supply its multi-ammunition softkill system to the Danish Armed Forces, according to a Friday release. The German defense technology company said the order includes MASS systems and Omnitrap-ER decoys for the Royal Danish Navy's Absalon- and Iver Huitfeldt-class frigates and its Weapons School. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2027. The contract is valued at a two-digit million-euro figure, Rheinmetall added. A separate supply contract with a term of up to 21 years was also signed with the Danish Navy.
