Eurozone Records Trade Surplus in June

05:12 AM EDT, 08/14/2026 (MT Newswires) -- The euro area recorded a trade surplus of 8.6 billion euros in June, against a revised 9 billion-euro deficit in May, according to Eurostat data published Friday. The consensus estimate for the month was a deficit of 2.2 billion euros. Exports of goods to the rest of the world rose 14.4% year over year to 272.5 billion euros, while imports grew 13.1% to 264 billion euros.
