08:53 AM EDT, 08/14/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Sweden's Court of Appeal on Friday granted a unit of Nordic care company Humana (HUM.ST) leave to appeal a district court's rejection of its damage claim against the state. The appeals court will now review the merits of the case, according to a same-day release. The case refers to a claim filed by Humana Assistans in May 2024 after the Swedish Health and Social Care Inspectorate wrongly revoked its business permit. Humana Assistans is seeking 225.5 million kronor in damages for customer loss, and a further 14 million kronor for legal expenses.
