10:31 AM EDT, 08/14/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Airtel Africa (AAF.L) is considering listing its mobile payments arm Airtel Money in US dollars rather than pounds sterling upon its London debut later in 2026, Bloomberg News reported Friday, citing people familiar with the matter. The aim is to match Airtel Money's reporting currency, the sources said. The British telecommunications and mobile money services company also reportedly tapped more banks for the planned initial public offering on the London stock exchange, including those based in Africa and the Middle East. Airtel Africa did not immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires. (Market Chatter news is derived from conversations with market professionals globally.
