TruGolf Shares Surge Monday: What's Driving the Action?

Shares of TruGolf Holdings Inc (NASDAQ:TRUG) rallied Monday afternoon following the release on Friday of the company’s second-quarter financial results for the period ended June 30.

The golf simulator and software developer reported top-line revenue expansion and improved gross margins.

Q2 Financial Performance

For the three months ended June 30, TruGolf generated net revenue of $5.79 million, representing a 34.4% increase compared to $4.31 million in the second quarter of 2025. Growth was led by a surge in content software subscription revenue to $2.82 million, up from $341,443 in the prior-year period, alongside $2.72 million in golf simulator sales.

Gross profit rose 95.5% to $3.47 million, while cost of revenue decreased 8.3% to $2.33 million. TruGolf narrowed its operating loss to $222,006 from $1.87 million in the second quarter of 2025, while net loss attributable to common shareholders dropped to $447,808, or 37 cents per share, down from $3.32 million, or $4.63 per share, a year earlier.

Management Overview and Corporate Updates

CEO Christopher Jones signed off on the quarterly filing, which detailed continued product expansion and ongoing strategic initiatives. “We design, develop, manufacture and sell golf simulators and related software for residential and commercial applications,” management detailed in the report, emphasizing growth in proprietary E6 GOLF software and franchise operations via TruGolf Links Franchising, LLC.

Management noted that top-line gains were driven by higher market acceptance and increased software recognition.
