11:32 PM EDT, 08/17/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena (BMPS.MI) plans to exercise a call option for the early redemption of its 500 million-euro fixed to floating rate callable senior notes due Sept. 5, 2027. The Italian bank said Monday that the option will be exercised on Sept. 5, 2026, with all of the outstanding notes to be redeemed at par, along with accrued and unpaid interest.
