03:36 AM EDT, 08/18/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Berenberg raised its price target for Siemens (SIE.F) on the back of strong electrification growth and a "gradual" automation rebound in the German technology group's fiscal third quarter. "Siemens delivered a strong result in its Smart Infrastructure (SI) business, including triple-digit growth in data centre orders, contributing to an upgrade to FY26 guidance and an overall beat for Q3. However, a lack of an upgrade for Digital Industries (DI) disappointed on the day as automation growth momentum was less pronounced than peers and there were signs of some order softness in June. Positively, the tax treatment for the spin-off of Siemens Healthineers [SHL.F] was confirmed, which keeps the spin-off on track for shareholder votes in February 2027. We remain Buy-rated on the strength in electrification end-markets and the continued (gradual) recovery in automation markets, nudging our price target up to EUR330 [from EUR320]," analysts said Tuesday. For the three months, orders were up 14% on a comparable basis to 27.90 billion euros, while revenue climbed 8% to 20.79 billion euros. Meanwhile, for fiscal 2026, Siemens raised its smart infrastructure business' comparable revenue growth outlook to between 10% and 11% from the previous target of 8% to 10%. Within this context, the research firm lifted its EBIT and EPS forecasts for 2026 through 2028. Meanwhile, Berenberg's sales estimate for 2026 was trimmed by 0.4%, while its 2027 and 2028 projections were raised by 0.1% and 0.3%, respectively.
