Humacyte, Inc. (Nasdaq: HUMA), a commercial-stage biotechnology company that develops bioengineered human tissues, today announced that Symvess, acellular tissue engineered vessel-tyod, is now being used by surgeons in Arizona. The first post-Biologics License Application (BLA) approval implants in the state were performed by Jeromy Brink, MD, a board-certified vascular and endovascular surgeon in Phoenix.
