Mingke International (08100) is forecasting a net loss of around HK$6.5 million for the first half of the year

According to the Zhitong Finance App, Mingke International (08100) announced that the group expects a net loss of approximately HK$6.5 million in the first half of 2026 and a net loss of about HK$6.3 million in the first half of 2025.

According to the announcement, the anticipated mid-term loss in 2026 is mainly affected by a combination of the following: (i) the Group's software business segment profit of about HK$3.3 million (mid-2025: approximately HK$5.5 million); (ii) the group's securities investment business segment profit of about HK$1 million (mid-2025: loss of approximately HK$500,000), mainly due to net realized and unrealized income from financial assets listed at fair value through profit and loss of approximately HK$1 million (mid-2025: loss of approximately HK$500,000); (iii) Group Enterprise Management Solutions and information technology Segment loss of approximately HK$3.1 million (mid-2025: approximately HK$3.2 million), mainly due to intense competition in the IT industry and impairment loss of goodwill of HK$2.6 million (mid-2025: HK$2.3 million); (iv) segment losses of the Group's business-to-consumer online sales platform and business-to-business product trading business of approximately HK$300,000 (mid-2025: approximately HK$400,000); and (v) a slight increase in other corporate expenses to around HK$7.6 million (mid-2025: approximately HK$7.3 million).
