01:03 AM EDT, 08/19/2026 (MT Newswires) -- BKW (BKW.SW) said Wednesday that its net profit for the first half of 2026 rose, while total operating income decreased year over year. Net profit for the six months ended June 30 was 217.6 million francs, compared with 203.3 million francs a year ago. The Swiss electric utility company's total operating income was 2.18 billion francs, compared with 2.25 billion francs earlier.
