03:42 AM EDT, 08/19/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Lundin Mining (LUMI.ST) revised its production guidance for 2026 after its Chile operations were impacted by a second severe winter storm that began on Aug. 13. The Caserones mine in Chile's Atacama region suffered a second power outage on Aug. 14. Severe winds and heavy snow damaged a transmission tower that was impacted by the previous storm in July. The mining company expects to restore power by the end of the week. Lundin Mining revised the full-year copper production outlook at Caserones to between 120,000 tonnes and 130,000 tonnes from the previous guidance range of between 130,000 tonnes and 140,000 tonnes. Consequently, the company's consolidated copper production guidance was revised to between 300,000 tonnes and 325,000 tonnes from the previous range of 310,000 tonnes to 335,000 tonnes.
