04:38 AM EDT, 08/19/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Italy's current account surplus increased to 5.84 billion euros in June from a revised surplus of 627.4 million euros in the prior month. In the 12 months to June, the Italian current account surplus totaled 30.4 billion euros, against 20.7 billion euros in the previous year, according to data from the Bank of Italy published Wednesday.
