I-Tech Buys Rights to Biologically Derived Antifouling Technology

05:21 AM EDT, 08/19/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Biotechnology group I-Tech (ITECH.ST) acquired the rights to a new biologically derived antifouling technology designed to help modify the physical characteristics of underwater surfaces. The biochemical additive, produced via microbial fermentation using a specific strain of a naturally occurring microorganism, will add to the company's sustainable fouling prevention technologies portfolio, according to a Wednesday release.
