06:18 AM EDT, 08/19/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Volvo Car (VOLCAR-B.ST), d/b/a Volvo Cars, appointed Alexander Petrofski as chief technology officer and Magnus Nilsson as chief manufacturing officer. Petrofski, who currently serves as senior vice president for small cars at the Swedish carmaker, will succeed Anders Bell, while Nilsson will transition from heading the company's Ghent plant in Belgium. Both will be added to the group's executive management team, effective Sept. 1. Meanwhile, the company also disclosed that Chief Industrial Operations Officer Francesca Gamboni will take on the role of chief procurement and supply chain officer, also with effect from Sept. 1.
