According to Zhitong Finance App News, Liberal Arts Interactive (00434) announced interim results for the 3 months and 6 months ended June 30, 2026. In the second quarter of 2026, the group achieved revenue of HK$125 million, up 12.94% year on year; gross profit of HK$90.2 million, up 21.25% year on year; loss of HK$312 million over the period due to company owners; loss of HK$42.64 per share.

According to the announcement, in the first half of 2026, the Group obtained approximately HK$258 million in revenue, comprised of online game revenue, digital asset value-added revenue and other revenue. Among them, online game revenue was approximately HK$253 million, an increase of about 16.6% over the same period in 2025. At the same time, through value-added management of digital assets, the Group also obtained value-added income from digital assets, which added new impetus to the growth of the Group's earnings. In the first half of 2026, the Group achieved digital asset value-added income of about HK$3.8 million, a decrease of about 15.9% compared to the same period in 2025, mainly due to fluctuations in digital asset value-added income following the digital asset market performance.
Due to the decline in Bitcoin prices during the first half of 2026, the fair value of the Group's digital assets as of June 30, 2026 was lower than the fair value of digital assets as of December 31, 2025. As a result, the Group obtained an unaudited non-international financial reporting accounting standard adjusted loss of approximately HK$790 million for the six months ended June 30, 2026. Meanwhile, for the six months ended June 30, 2025, the Group obtained an unaudited non-IFRS adjusted net profit of approximately HK$240 million. Excluding the impact of non-one-time operating factors such as changes in the fair value of financial assets such as digital assets and equity investment partnerships, the Group obtained an unaudited non-IFRS adjusted net profit of about HK$98.2 million in the first half of 2026, an increase of about 72.0% over the previous year, mainly due to the increase in online game revenue compared to the same period in 2025.
