Insiders Could Have Profited By Holding onto Kidsland International Holdings Shares Despite 37% Drop
Share
Listen to the news

Even though Kidsland International Holdings Limited (HKG:2122) has fallen by 37% over the past week , insiders who sold CN¥29m worth of stock over the past year have had less luck. Insiders would probably have been better off holding on to their shares given that the average selling price of CN¥0.27 is still lower than the current share price.

Although we don't think shareholders should simply follow insider transactions, we would consider it foolish to ignore insider transactions altogether.

Kidsland International Holdings Insider Transactions Over The Last Year

In the last twelve months, the biggest single sale by an insider was when the Chairman & CEO, Ching Yiu Lee, sold HK$29m worth of shares at a price of HK$0.27 per share. It's of some comfort that this sale was conducted at a price well above the current share price, which is HK$0.09. So it may not tell us anything about how insiders feel about the current share price. Ching Yiu Lee was the only individual insider to sell over the last year.
