On August 20, the APEC Energy Think Tank Forum was held in Dalian. More than 100 representatives from 16 APEC member economies, international organizations, think tanks and scientific research institutions discussed topics such as energy security and regional resilience, energy technology and innovation cooperation, multilateral cooperation and think tank network construction to forge intellectual consensus to deepen practical regional energy cooperation and promote common prosperity in the Asia-Pacific region. The forum released the report “Starting a New Process of China-APEC Energy Cooperation: Jointly Promoting Common Prosperity in the Asia-Pacific Region through Energy Cooperation”. The report shows that since joining APEC in 1991, China has continued to connect with the energy development strategies of various economies, covering various fields such as traditional energy, new energy, and electricity, and penetrating the entire investment, trade, and infrastructure chain, forming an energy cooperation pattern with complementary supply and demand, green empowerment, stable chains, and collaborative good governance, contributing China's strength to common security and sustainable development of regional energy. The 16th APEC Energy Ministers Meeting will be held in Beijing from September 10 to 11.
