12:33 AM EDT, 08/21/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Icelandair Group (ICEAIR.IC) said Thursday it agreed to buy a 49% stake in Fly Play Europe Holdco, the holding company of Maltese airline Fly Play Europe Ltd. The Icelandic flag carrier is purchasing the interest from the Isafold Capital Partners-managed fund FPE for $686,000. Completion is subject to an agreement with the Maltese aviation authorities, among other conditions.
