06:29 AM EDT, 08/21/2026 (MT Newswires) -- The European Commission approved the planned joint venture between TotalEnergies (TTE.PA, TTE.L) and CMA CGM, according to a Friday release. The regulator concluded that the deal, which mainly relates to liquefied natural gas bunkering logistics services, would not raise competition concerns as the joint venture will have negligible activities in the European Economic Area.
