(NASDAQ:CAPR) ("Capricor" or the "Company"), today issued a letter to fellow shareholders calling on them to support an immediate meeting with the Board of Directors regarding the Company's future strategic direction. Kaos Capital intends, subject to applicable law and the Company's governing documents, to nominate two independent directors and to seek a Board-led M&A and Strategic Alternatives Committee chaired by a shareholder-backed director.
