Flughafen Zürich to Sell Stake in Brazil's Belo Horizonte International Airport

09:01 AM EDT, 08/21/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Flughafen Zürich (FHZN.SW) signed an agreement to sell its indirectly held 12.75% stake in Belo Horizonte International Airport in Confins, Minas Gerais, Brazil. The Swiss airport operator will divest its minority stake to Grupo Aeroportuario del Sureste's subsidiary, Aeropuerto de Cancún, according to a Friday release. The group expects to register a nonrecurring net gain of 17 million francs upon completion of the transaction, which is expected in the next few months, subject to customary closing conditions. Belo Horizonte International Airport, which handled 13.3 million passengers in 2025, has been operated by Concessionária do Aeroporto Internacional de Confins under a 30-year concession since 2013.
