11:29 PM EDT, 08/23/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Banco Santander (SAN.MC, BNC.L) completed its share buyback program of 5.03 billion euros, according to an Aug. 21 release. The Spanish lender repurchased 462,683,139 shares under the scheme, representing 3.08% of its share capital. All shares acquired will be cancelled as part of the bank's capital reduction efforts.
