01:45 AM EDT, 08/24/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Sunrise Communications (SUNN.SW) entered into a memorandum of understanding with Swiss telecommunications company Salt Mobile, d/b/a Salt, to assess the potential expansion of their mobile network infrastructure collaboration to rural areas in Switzerland. Pursuant to the agreement, the companies will carry out a feasibility study for closer cooperation in the radio access network through multi-operator core network sharing. Through the deal, the Swiss telecommunications provider looks to also pave the way for more efficient deployment of network resources and investments.
