02:02 AM EDT, 08/25/2026 (MT Newswires) -- SMG Swiss Marketplace Group (SMG.SW) appointed Alberto Sanz de Lama as the chief executive officer, effective Jan. 1, 2027. Sanz de Lama will succeed Christoph Tonini, who will step down on Dec. 31, the e-commerce company said Tuesday. Additionally, Chairman Jörn Nikolay plans to step down, and Vice Chairman Pietro Supino will assume the role in the interim. The board will propose Tonini as the new chairman at the annual general meeting in April 2027.
