Saudi Arabia's Trade Surplus Falls in Q2

02:25 AM EDT, 08/25/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Saudi Arabia's merchandise trade surplus came in at 61.52 billion Saudi riyals in the second quarter, down from the revised 93.20 billion riyals in the first quarter, data from the General Authority for Statistics showed Tuesday. Merchandise exports totaled 285.98 billion riyals, up 4.1% year over year, while merchandise imports fell 5.2% to 224.46 billion riyals.
