02:27 AM EDT, 08/25/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Merko Ehitus (MRK1T.TL, MKS.F) unit Merko Mājas launched the second phase of the first stage of the Lucavsala residential project in Riga, Latvia. Under the first stage, the construction group's unit will develop a three-building complex comprising 199 apartments and two commercial units. It has already developed 54 apartments in the first phase. In the second phase, Merko Mājas expects to construct a 15-story building with 64 apartments, with completion scheduled for the first quarter of 2028. The overall project will include five residential buildings with 575 apartments and six commercial units.
