04:34 AM EDT, 08/25/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Rheinmetall (RHM.F) landed its initial call-off order from the Federal Office of Bundeswehr Infrastructure, Environmental Protection and Services to build a modular soldier camp in Lithuania. The German arms maker will serve as the main contractor and handle facility management following commissioning, according to a Tuesday release. The construction order is valued at 250 million euros, with the camp expected to begin operations in mid-August 2027. Subsequent operations are valued at 40 million euros a year.
