06:38 AM EDT, 08/25/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Berenberg revised its thyssenkrupp nucera (NCH2.F) forecasts following the company's fiscal third-quarter report, with analysts noting that "orders remain key." "We remain cautious on thyssenkrupp nucera (Nucera) given the continued uncertainty around delivery of sustained order intake needed for a recovery in backlog and to underpin long-term revenue growth in the green hydrogen (gH2) business," the research firm said Tuesday. For the fiscal third quarter, the German electrolysis company reported an order intake of 81 million euros, of which 3 million euros are for its gH2 segment. Nucera also revised its outlook for the year ending Sept. 30, now expecting order intake between 550 million euros and 670 million euros, against its previous guidance of 550 million euros to 850 million euros. Sales are estimated at 450 million and 500 million euros, down from the prior expectation of 450 million euros to 550 million euros. For the gH2 segment alone, sales are projected between 100 million euros and 130 million euros, compared with the initial outlook of 120 million euros to 170 million euros. "We adjust our forecasts to reflect the updated guidance, including the effect of the decision pull away from in-house solid oxide electrolyser manufacturing. We reduce our FY26 revenue estimate by 3% and increase our expected EBIT losses significantly to the midpoint of the guidance range," analysts wrote. As such, EPS forecasts for 2026 to 2028 were also reduced. Against this backdrop, the stock's hold rating and price target of 9 euros were maintained.
