11:32 PM EDT, 08/25/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Siemens Energy (ENR.F) said Tuesday it kicked off preparations for the legal and operational separation of its Transformation of Industry business as the company focuses on power generation and transmission. The energy technology company plans to establish Transformation of Industry as a standalone entity with options for further growth, while still retaining a "meaningful" minority stake in the business. Siemens Energy added that it will explore a new ownership structure for the segment as a second step. Transformation of Industry will initially operate under Omterra, Siemens Energy's future brand.
