06:09 AM EDT, 08/26/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Institutional shareholders in technology investor Prosus (PRX.AS, PRX.JO) are opposing the company's share structure with parent Naspers (NPN.JO), as well as the remuneration of its executives and directors, Bloomberg News reported Wednesday. Investors including Storebrand (STB.OL) and Van Lanschot Kempen (VLK.AS) intend to vote against the re-election of certain board members, citing concerns over the share structure, Bloomberg said, citing the companies' disclosures. Prosus' annual general meeting is scheduled for later the same day. The New York City Comptroller's funds, the California Public Employees' Retirement System and Norges Bank Investment Management also plan to vote against the remuneration proposal. Under the current share structure, insiders including Chairman Koos Bekker have 1,000 votes per share, compared with one vote for each ordinary share. Prosus, Storebrand and Van Lanschot Kempen did not immediately respond to requests for comment from MT Newswires.
