"We're aware some customers experienced difficulties accessing them for a short period earlier today, and we worked quickly to restore services. We apologise for any inconvenience," a spokesperson said Wednesday. Outage tracker Downdetector saw nearly 3,000 complaints during early Wednesday afternoon due to the British bank's app outage.
