12:44 AM EDT, 08/27/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Byhmgard (BESS.ST) agreed to purchase the rights to the 50-megawatt Hitura battery energy storage system project in Finland from Callio-Hitura Solarpark. The renewable energy and battery storage company will complete the project's development work up to its ready-to-build stage, which it expects to achieve in 2026, according to a Wednesday release. Commissioning is anticipated in late 2027. Byhmgard will complete the project and make payments in stages, subject to customary closing conditions, including achieving the ready-to-build status.
