01:43 AM EDT, 08/27/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Skanska (SKA-B.ST) secured an $85 million contract to construct a new academic building for Florida Gulf Coast University in Florida, US. The contract, which represents an additional order from the university, covers the construction of a 14,700-square-meter building that features a classroom, an office, a concession, and a specialized laboratory space, according to a Thursday release. Work on the project started in the summer of 2026, with completion scheduled for summer 2028, the Swedish construction group added.
