02:49 AM EDT, 08/27/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Bezant Resources (BZT.L) said Thursday it agreed with CL US Minerals to accelerate payments for full ownership of the NLZM processing plant in Namibia, which will process copper sulfide and oxide preconcentrate from the Hope & Gorob mine site. Under the revised arrangement, the copper-gold exploration and development company will make a $5 million payment by Oct. 31, 2026, followed by another $5 million in quarterly installments of $415,000, from March 31, 2029, to Dec. 31, 2031. The company may repay the deferred amount early at a 12.5% annual discount. Bezant said a third party has expressed interest in co-investing toward the accelerated payment, with discussions ongoing. The company continues to target first concentrate production from the plant by the end of September.
