02:50 AM EDT, 08/27/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Switzerland's nonfarm payrolls grew 2% year over year in the second quarter, compared with the revised 1.5% gain in the previous three months, according to data published by the country's Federal Statistical Office on Thursday. On a quarterly basis, the seasonally adjusted figure rose 0.5%. Nearly 5.7 million employees were recorded by companies in Switzerland, excluding agriculture, for the second quarter.
