Netel Gets Swedish Approval to Merge Seven Units Under Cost-cutting Plan

03:10 AM EDT, 08/27/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Sweden-listed Netel Holding (NETEL.ST) secured approval from the Swedish Companies Registration Office to merge seven of its local operating companies into a single entity. The critical infrastructure group expects its remaining five Swedish companies to be consolidated into its operations before the end of 2026. The mergers form part of Netel's strategy to reduce costs by 15 million kronor to 25 million kronor by 2027. The cost-saving program also includes measures across the 12 companies to streamline decision-making processes, cut overhead costs, and boost organizational efficiency.
